Trent Laron Hunter was raised in Katy, Texas on December 2, 1989. As a senior at Katy High School Trent Hunter made 136 tackles while intercepting four passes and breaking up 17. In 2007, the 5’10” 185 lbs defensive back was named Houston Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Year. Hunter also earned first-team all-state defensive back and first Team All-District return specialist. In 2008, Trent Hunter became a freshman at the University of Texas A&M. In his freshman year Trent Hunter earned first-team Freshman All-America honors by College Football News.

In his first game as an Aggie football player #22 made 17 tackles against Army which earned him Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors. Hunter went on to earn a second-team All-Big 12 selection by the league and a spot on the Aggies football team as a leader in tackles. Trent Hunter hopes to continue that success into his senior year to make sure he is remembered for years to come.
