Tony Dejuan Jerod-Eddie was raised in DeSoto, Texas and was born on March 29, 1990. As a senior at DeSoto High School, Tony Jerod-Eddie made 46 tackles which included eight sacks. Tony Jerod-Eddie earned many honors which included honorable Mention 5A All-State honors from the Associated Pres and Texas Sports Writer’s Association, two-time first-team all-district defensive line and the Dallas Morning News Second Team All-Area defensive line. Tony Jerod-Eddie was also a member of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Super Team.

In 2008, Tony Jerod-Eddie played for Texas A&M football program. In his first year #83 played in all 12 games as a defensive tackle. At 6’5” and 256 lbs Jerod-Eddie made 20 tackles and his first career sack against Miami. The following season, Tony Jerod-Eddie saw action in all 13 games with multiple starting opportunities at defensive tackle. This season, Jerod-Eddie hopes to bump up that number and to make his senior year unforgettable to all.
