Ryan Tannehill will be competing with Starting quarterback Stephen McGee and back-up quarterback Jerrod Johnson for playing time with the Texas Aggies football team. McGee is recovering from hand surgery and Mike Sherman has made it known that the best quarterback will play not necessarily the starting quarterback. Ryan Tannehill is the youngest of the three and hopes to get a little playing time and experience as he would like to be the quarterback of the future for the Texas A&M Aggies.

In high school, Ryan Tannehill passed for 1,258 yards and rushed for 617 yards. Tannehill helped his Big Spring Texas high school make it to the Texas high school football playoffs.
