Matthew David Allen was born in Klein, Texas on June 9, 1988. At Klein Collins High School Matt Allen was one of the top offensive line prospects in the nation. Matthew Allen was ranked 29th among all prospects in Texas by Lone Star Recruiting. Matt Allen received many honors while playing for Klein Collins including SuperPrep All-Southwest Region, first-team All-Greater Houston, first-team all-district selection and top 12 finalist for Houston Touchdown Club Player of the Year award. Matt Allen spent two years Louisiana State University where he was redshirted as a freshman in 2006. Matthew Allen did not play any games for the Tigers and transferred to Texas A&M in 2008. #70 is currently a 6’2” 298 lbs offensive lineman for the Aggies.
