Jeffrey Howard Hyde was raised in Colleyville, Texas. Jeffrey Hyde received All-District honors as a sophomore, junior and senior year at Covenant Christian High School. As a junior, the 6’5” 290 lbs offensive lineman helped lead his school to a state championship. Jeffrey Hyde was a member of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Super Team.

In 2008, Jeffrey Hyde joined the Texas A&M football program as #62 offensive lineman. Hyde was redshirted his first year and managed to appear in eight games, primarily on protection team for extra points, in the following season.
