DeAndre Thompson is a junior returning for the 2011 Aggie football season. After being redshirted as a freshman in 2009, Thompson has done all he can to prove himself among the ranks of talented young Aggie football players.

As a high school student at Beaumont Central High School, Thompson showed early potential when he led Beaumont Central to a 9-4 record and a state quarterfinal appearance. Among many other achievements, DeAndre Thompson also earned first-team All-District (22-4A) honors as an outside linebacker. Lucky for us, Thompson chose Texas A&M over top schools such as Oklahoma State and Oregon.
