Brian Joseph Thomas was raised in Pearland, Texas. As a senior at Pearland High School, Brian Thomas was named first-team all-district offensive lineman. Other honors Brian Thomas received while in high school included Houston Chronicle First Team All-Greater Houston Area offensive line and first-team all-district.
