The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Cornhuskers are a Division-I NCCA college football team that competes in the Big 12 conference, Northern division. Noted as one of the most competitive teams and programs in the country, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are the most successful college football team in the past 50 years in terms of wins and winning percentage. The team is also only one of seven ever to hold over 800 wins.


Head Coach Bo Pelini who just finished his first season at the University Nebraska led the Cornhuskers to a 10-4 season this past year. At home the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers play in Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Memorial Stadium seating chart can hold up to 81,067 screaming Huskers fans. The University of Nebraska Cornhuskers are no stranger to winning and have an impressive post-season record. In 2009 the Cornhuskers beat Clemson in the Gator Bowl, they also played in the 2005 Alamo Bowl and the 2007 Cotton Bowl. Historically the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers appeared frequently in the Orange Bowl. Along with several bowl titles, the Cornhuskers can claim 46 conference championship titles and 5 National Championships.
