Baylor Bears Football Player 

 

Baylor University in Waco, Texas is the home of the Baylor Bears football team. The Baylor Bears are part of the NCAA Division-I football league and play in the Big 12 conference in the Southern Division. All of the Bears home games are played at Floyd Casey Stadium. Floyd Casey Stadium's seating chart has a capacity of 50,000. With the size of state there is no surprise that there are several in-state rivals. The Baylor Bears have a bitter rivalry with both the Texas A&M Aggies and the University of Texas Longhorns.

 

The Baylor Bears have an amazing fan base that is a huge part of the teams success. Known as the Baylor line and comprised all of students it is an intimidation factor for opposing teams. The Baylor Line students all wear yellow football jerseys with their graduation year in place of a number and a nickname on the back. The Line then stands at the end of Floyd Casey Stadium and rushes the field right before the game, they students then make two lines that the football players run through as they make their entrance to the stadium.

 

With all of the fan support it is no surprise that the Baylor Bears can claim 7 conference championship titles and is proud of many distinguished players including 44 All-American football players and two Ray Guy Award winners.
